A Mother's Rest

A Mother’s Rest is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of parents and caregivers of individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses. They offer affordable, restorative respite retreats at various bed and breakfast inns across the United States, providing caregivers with essential breaks to rest and recharge. Their programs include retreats specifically designed for mothers, fathers, couples, adoptive families, military spouses, and bereaved parents, among others. Additionally, A Mother’s Rest operates two year-round respite inns: The Terrace Guest House in Maryland and Lawton Place Manor in Georgia, exclusively serving caregivers seeking rest and fellowship.
