Independent Living Research Utilization Project

The ILRU Directory of Centers for Independent Living (CILs) and Associations is a comprehensive resource that provides contact information for CILs and their branches across all U.S. states and territories. CILs are community-based, nonresidential, nonprofit organizations designed and operated by individuals with disabilities. They offer a range of services, including information and referral, independent living skills training, individual and systems advocacy, peer counseling, and various transition services.
