The Koinonia Foundation of Tennessee (KFTN) is a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities through education and recreation. They collaborate with the University of Tennessee’s Therapeutic Recreation Program to offer both residential and day camps for individuals with disabilities. These programs aim to foster independence, cultivate friendships, and provide enriching experiences in a supportive camp setting. Their flagship program, Camp Koinonia, is an outdoor adventure camp that offers activities like horseback riding, canoeing, and zip-lining in an inclusive environment.
The mission of Angelman Syndrome Foundation is to advance the awareness and treatment of Angelman syndrome through education and information, research and support for individuals with Angelman syndrome, their families and other concerned parties. We exist to give all of them a reason to smile, with the ultimate goal of finding a cure.
