Camp Imua is a weeklong overnight recreational camp in Maui County, Hawaii, for children aged 7 to 14 with cognitive or developmental disabilities. Each camper is paired with two youth volunteer counselors for personalized support. Activities include helicopter rides, kayaking, swimming, campfire songs, arts and crafts, talent shows, dance parties, and more. Applications for campers and volunteers are available on the website.
The mission of Angelman Syndrome Foundation is to advance the awareness and treatment of Angelman syndrome through education and information, research and support for individuals with Angelman syndrome, their families and other concerned parties.
