Camp ASCCA (Alabama’s Special Camp for Children and Adults) is a therapeutic recreation camp located on Lake Martin in Jackson’s Gap, Alabama. Operating year-round, Camp ASCCA provides recreational and educational activities tailored for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. The camp offers various programs, including summer sessions and weekend retreats, designed to promote independence, socialization, and personal growth in a supportive environment.
The mission of Angelman Syndrome Foundation is to advance the awareness and treatment of Angelman syndrome through education and information, research and support for individuals with Angelman syndrome, their families and other concerned parties. We exist to give all of them a reason to smile, with the ultimate goal of finding a cure.
