Telehealth Study on Early Development in Angelman Syndrome at Purdue University

The Purdue University Neurodevelopmental Family Lab is recruiting families of children with Angelman syndrome 6-18 months old. This study aims to improve understanding of how children with Angelman syndrome develop in early childhood, and be able to predict and optimize outcomes for individual children.

Study activities are completed from home and participation involves: online survey/phone interview/day-long recording of your child’s vocalizations/play-based telehealth session with Purdue researcher. 

Participant Requirements

  • Have a child diagnosed with AS who is 6-18 months old
  • Family is willing to provide a copy of genetic or medical records verifying AS diagnosis
  • Primary language spoken at home is English and live in the US
  • Be willing to complete activities at home 3 times, 6 months apart
