Karen Erickson, PhD, at UNC Chapel Hill, is studying the Prevalence of Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) in Angelman syndrome and it’s effect on communication. The purpose of this research study is to estimate the prevalence of cortical visual impairment among children with Angelman syndrome and investigate the relationship between risk for cortical visual impairment and communication skills.
If you are the caregiver of a child diagnosed with AS between 2 and 18 years, you are invited to complete a survey that will help identify and understand CVI in individuals with AS.
