The ASF team in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is the Windy City Angels! From first-time marathoners to elite athletes, the team is united in using their love of running to support the Angelman community and raise awareness.

ASF is an approved charity for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Our running team, the Windy City Angels, proudly runs to fundraise for Angelman syndrome.

Our guaranteed entry spots are full.

You can still join the team by securing a marathon spot through the lottery,  time qualification, or joining through the Abbott 5K.

About Windy City Angels

Windy City Angels runners are asked to raise $2,500 and will receive:

  • Guaranteed entry into the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Runners are responsible for race entry fees.
  • A customized “I Run For” Windy City Angels team t-shirt
  • Invitation to a team banquet and buffet dinner the night before the race for runner and a guest
  • Access to ASF’s discounted hotel room block. Runners are responsible for hotel fees.
  • A personal fundraising page and fundraising support throughout the year
  • Personal training tips throughout the year
